By installing or using Al Muminun you agree to what follows. It is short on purpose.

The app is free

Al Muminun costs nothing and is supported by advertising. There is no subscription, and no feature is held back behind a payment.

Religious content

The Qur'an text, translations, tafsir and hadith collections in the app come from established published sources and are reproduced as faithfully as we can manage. The app is a reading and reference tool, not a mufti. For a ruling that affects how you worship or live, ask a qualified scholar.

Ask Noor composes its answers from those same sources and shows you which ones it used, precisely so you can check it. It can still be wrong or incomplete. Treat it as a knowledgeable starting point, never as a fatwa.

Prayer times are calculated from your location using standard astronomical methods and the calculation school you choose. Local conventions differ. If your masjid's timetable disagrees with the app, follow your masjid.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.

What you may not do

Redistribute the app's downloaded content as your own product.
Attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
Use Ask Noor to generate content that misrepresents Islamic teaching.

Availability

We try to keep everything working, but the app is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted service. Some content — hadith collections, tafsir editions, recitations — is downloaded on demand and needs a connection the first time.

Ending it

You can uninstall the app or delete your account at any time, for any reason. See the Privacy Policy for how deletion works.
