Questions people actually ask
Does it cost anything?
No. There is no subscription and no feature behind a paywall. Ads keep it running, and only general-audience ones are ever requested.
Do I need an account?
Yes — signing in is the first thing the app asks for, with an email address or with Google. It is free, and it is what lets your bookmarks, notes, streaks and saved Ask Noor conversations follow you to a new phone.
Does it work offline?
The Qur’an is bundled in the app and works with no connection at all. Hadith collections, tafsir editions and recitations download the first time you open them, then stay on the device.
How big is the install?
Around 31 MB. It grows only by what you choose to download.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. It is being worked on. The Android app is the whole product today, and we would rather say so than take an email address for a waiting list.
Why does it ask for my location?
Prayer times, qibla and finding a nearby masjid all need it. You can refuse, and set a location by hand instead.
